my week

my week has been...well not the best. i havent been going to school because of getting some 2 horrible deceases called the flu and cold...anyone heard of them? heard they're rare :P anyways. they got the best of me and all i can do is sleep. i may have missed school but work refused to let me get a couple days off so i've been helping customers at the till half deaf and unable to speak. but i was thinking next week i'll be looking back at this week like it was forever away and i'll be laughing at how pathetic everything was going. next week i'll be in arizona with one of my best friends who makes me feel not so pathetic because well....he can be just as bad :P Happy Birthday Kayden, you really are the best :)

being a twin sometimes comes in handy.

Today was football pictures and my sister and one of my best friends does stats for the team. Mackenzie was to busy to get pictures done and my friend Charlie didn't want to go alone so I went to just watch. Well turns out being a twin comes in handy sometimes. They asked me to be in the pictures and pretend to be Mackenzie so they didn't have to go photoshop her in. I knew she would be pretty mad about that but there was no stopping them. I had fun with it and I can't wait to see the pictures.

take it as it comes

i'm confused. i do know eventually everything will make sense though, it always does. whether it's a week from now, a month, year, a couple years. eventually things will make sense and be alright.

silly little moments.

i love long weekends. staying up too late and waking up early. i've been having a hard week and this weekend was exactly what i needed. all the silly little moments added up and left a big smile on my face. things happened this weekend that i was expecting. some leaving me hurt and some leaving me smiling. but i wouldn't change a thing about this weekend.

Wanting something is not enough. You must hunger for it. Your motivation must be absolutely compelling in order to overcome the obstacles that will invariably come your way.

Thinking out loud...

Sometimes when I want something and some gets the idea in my head that I can't have it I want to do two things...give up or prove everyone wrong. Right now I'm having a hard time picking one....

Flight is booked and I'm ready for another adventure in Arizona. October 7th!

P.S. Thanks a ton Sherylee for letting me go to Arizona again, it's going to be a fun weekend!

Kiara....your getting on a bus & going to Edmonton with over 50 boys...WELL OKAY! :)

On Friday I got the great pleasure to go to Edmonton with our Cardston Cougar Football team with my sister to do stats. 6 hour bus ride. At least we got the comfy blue and white bus. The first 2 hours were pretty mellow, everyone was either doing homework or sleeping. Things got interesting when we arrived in Calgary. We were speeding in a construction zone and a cop jumped out in the middle of the road to flag us down but instead of pointing us to pull over on the side to pointed down so we thought he was just telling us to slow down, well in the process we almost hit the guy. You don't jump in front of a bus going 110km/h We continued down the highway and half hour later we had a cop behind us with his lights on. We started laughing and joking around that it was for us. We kept going. Then here comes another cop. I've always wanted to see a police chase, but here I was in one! We pulled over and yes there was a lot of yelling going on. In the end we got a $375 ticket for speeding in a construction zone and a $200 and something ticket for back talking. Whoops... We were all just crazy hyper after that, we got to Red Deer and finally got to eat. The rest of the way to Edmonton we all just decided to go wild. We were all sitting in our seats backwards, some sitting on the ground tied up with seat belts. We won't talk about the game that night because we did lose pretty bad but I think everybody had fun, I didn't hear anybody complain about it. It was just a fun night.

Now everyone knows when you go to Edmonton you go to the West Ed Mall. We all spent the day there Watersliding and shopping but none of that was the highlight of our day. It all started with Carter and Ethan. They were in the Rolex store just looking around to waste sometime they pumped into a guy and Ethan knew he reconized him. Me, Mackenzie, & Daniel ran into them and they started freaking out asking us if that guy in the store was Dion Phaneuf. We all went in the store and realized it was. Daniel got his hat signed (using my pen haha) and Ethan and Daniel also got Rolex books signed. We found more of the team and told them who was in the Store and soon the guy had a line up of excited teenage boys shaking his hand and taking pictures with him.
