So I work on campus here at BYU-Idaho
So far I enjoy it, somedays I'm bored out of my mind but it's a pretty slack job nonetheless and I can't complaint.
I work at the crossroads, which is pretty much a nicer looking fancy cafeteria I guess you could say.
Or a bunch of tiny little restaurants.
Anyways.
I use to work at the BBQ place serving food there and honestly the only thing about my job that frustrated me was this.
Some of the people I served.
Why?
Here's an example.
Sitting in front of me is this a huge chicken leg and some carved meat, pork to be exact.
Me: Hey, what can I get you today?
Customer: Can I get the chicken (points at carved meat)
Me: That's actually the carved meat
Customer stares back and forth at the big chicken leg and carved meat
Customer: which ones the chicken then?
....
.........
......
WELL GEE I DON'T KNOW THE ONE THAT STILL LOOKS LIKE AN ANIMAL BODY PART!!!!!
This has happened multiple times,
I'd like to know what their parents taught them when they were young and why they are unable to identify a chicken leg from carved meat.
Food Services now moved me to the Crepe station so we'll see what kind of interesting people we get there.
My favorite so far,
how some people try and pronounce crepe.
"Can I get a strawberry nutella creep-pay"
