Legendary

Stake dances.
First thing your probably thinking if your from Cardston.
BORING.

Naw,
not these days.
Last night could only really be explained with one word,
awesome
or maybe the word is
amazing?
How abouts
legendary?
Yeah.
Legendary!

Mosh pits?
They're allowing them.
Only thing killing them these days is that one person who decides its a good time to fart and then everyone scrambles in different directions.

Dances offs?
Their happenin'.

Kissing?
Ya no.
Still not allowing it.
Which brings up an interesting story though.

This guy, we'll call him...um
Bob?
Yeah Bob.
He asks me to dance, slow song.
Typical scene where you've been avoiding the guy all night and then when you let your guard down
BAM
he finds you.
Well we're dancing and it's quiet for a bit and he decides to ask me if he could have a New Years kiss
Well buddy, its not exactly New Years yet that was fake countdown we had.
He starts leaning in and I'm moving back.
He had a good ol' grip on me so I couldn't let go and walk away.
He was really starting to wig me out.
Song ends and what not and I go over and tell Morgan what just happened, coarse he thought it was funny until the dance ended and he saw what "Bob" was trying to do.
He literally chased me around the gym asking over and over.
I was scared, honestly scared.
Boundaries dude, boundaries.

So minus that odd situation
it was a legendary night.
Full of amazing magical happenings.
Really, you had to be there.

Hope y'all have a legendary New Year.
Make it happen.

My best friend.

He always knows when I need cheering up.
I don't know how he does it, because most of the time he hasn't even see me or talked to me then entire day and calls or texts or even just shows up at my house at just the right time...
when I need it.

For example.
Today...
I woke up and decided I needed to start studying so I spent the entire morning going through notes and what not.
I was feeling rather down for many reasons and I decided I should just put my head down and sleep for awhile.
Then my phone rang, it was him! Kayden.
He's in Arizona home for the holidays and he just got this feeling he should call me and he did.
It honestly made my day
& he does that often.
Thanks buddy! :)

Drill time!

For Christmas I got this awesome tool kit

Yup it's pink in case your eyes can't see.
I LOVE IT!

In fact I used it today, I put a shelf up.
I felt real handy after.
I wanna drill holes in everything now!!!
So if you need something put up or fixed I'll be glad to whip out my toolkit for you
but hey...I didn't say I knew how to use everything.
Giggle.

School is out,
I'm done work
& words cannot explain how happy I am that I can put my holiday pants on
aka fat pants
and be a lazy tard and sit and stare at the Christmas tree hours on end  with my many flavors of hot chocolate if that's what my little heart desires.
Time can slow down now so I can enjoy every second and minute.

You meet someone.
You two get close.
It's all great for awhile.
Then someone stops trying.
Talks less. Awkward conversations.
The drifting.
No communication whatsoever.
Memories start to fade.
Then that person you know becomes the person that you KNEW.
Sad isn't it.

SUPPLIES! SUPPLIES!!

Okay so I wasn't the happiest camper yesterday (I would be pretty darn happy if I were camping though)
Anyways, I was pretty bitter about the whole "I'm still in school" thing.
What didn't help was I had a test I completely forgot about because I was in such holiday mode this weekend and I'm pretty sure I failed it! It's Bio. I love Bio, I know Bio.
Of coarse after that I was just not happy, so instead of hanging out with my friends at lunch I finished my book, I have finished 2 books in one week. NOT LIKE ME!
Then I remembered I had to work, which ruined my napping plans.
The day went on blah blah blah

Then I got to work, I hadn't even been there for half an hour and a guy I work with was driving me up the wall with his stupid sarcastic remarks and I was about to lose it!
Then my mom came running towards me (Mommy to the rescue)
she was so excited, and she said to me "MERRY CHRISTMAS! I have a surprise for you!"
and she handed me a letter, I was thinking
"What the!? I don't get mail"
I looked at the return address and it said Elder K
It actually took me a few seconds to clue in.
Dallin!
It made my day, I don't know why. I guess I just needed a little surprise to boost my spirits.

Attention span

Getting out of school 2 days before Christmas was a terrible idea to whom it may concern.
You see I'm done with school, I've had enough.
I can't even think about focusing, I sit in glass and look around the room totally zoned out on random objects because I'm thinking to myself "you need to listen"
and what do I do?
I think about listening
 and then the word listening
and then the itch in my ear needing a scratch
and while scratching I notice the funny looking shriveled up carrot above Mr.Quinton's board
and then I think about carrots
then think about how hungry I am
and then I wonder if I should whip out that brownie in my backpack that I'm saving for lunch
then I think about lunch and what I'm going to do for an hour
and then I think about time and how slow its going and then...
well you get the idea.
I'm done with school.

I'm ready to sit in front of the tree and stare at it for a good couple of days.

one eight.

Yesterday I turned the big one eight.
18.
I wasn't ready for it, I'm still too little.
The night before I tried thinking up ways I could stay 17 forever but I failed.
It happened, but hey!! Better things are awaiting me.
Like WINGS WEDNESDAY!
mmm wings.
Anyways these are the events that took place yesterday.

12 boys started marching towards my sister and I.
I looked/felt terrified.
Then I saw that they had roses, clued in it was my birthday and all was well.

Brady looked deep into my eyes and I looked into his.
It was a tender moment.

Austin always told me he owns me until I turn 18.
This was him letting me go.

The 12 handsome boys that made my day :)

I really need to start taking my camera out and capturing awesome moments in my life.
But I'm always justing have so much fun I don't want to ruin it but making everyone pose for a picture.
I know I'll regret those words the moment I'm out of High School though.

Basketball games,
I must say we have the most amazing fans out there. We kind of lacked that last year, seriously we were pathetic.
Jordan Wood and I make it clear to everyone that we get front row, whether we have to sit on the cheerleader's laps. We are front row girls.
Last night there was almost not enough room for us so we made a deal with the cheerleaders.
We'd cheer with them.
& we did.
We were more obnoxious and louder because we didn't have anyone stopping us, but hey it got the crowd roaring.
We even got up there a couple times and did some of their little routines with them.
I'll admit it was a blast!!
I even did a wicked kicker with a couple of them cuties.
Foul shots, I don't know how it looked from the other side of the gym but all the students that came to the game had their hands up and them little fingers winglin'
Our school spirit is only improving more and more each game.

So if your a fellow Cougar fan and your reading this and NOT coming to games,
COME!
Win or lose or tie
you'll have fun!

Dear Kiara:

Congratulations! We are pleased to offer you admission to Brigham Young University-Idaho. Rich blessings and life-changing opportunities await you here.

(About the time where I scream and do a happy dance)

Once again, congratulations on your acceptance to BYU-Idaho! We look forward to having you on our campus and feel that you will enrich the University.

This my friends has kept a smile on my face for a couple of days now, I didn't exactly have a back up plan like most people do, I just knew I wanted to be at BYU-I. I've known that for a couple of years now. Idaho is already my second home, it's so great knowing that it's official.

Now all I have to do is
