I can't help it.

highway Pictures, Images and Photos

Nothing makes the earth seem so spacious as to have friends at a distance; they make the latitudes and longitudes.

Camping!

After a long week of working, I made my way to the St.Mary's camp ground thinking there was just a couple family members camping there, but no! It was a mini family reunion, I'm not complaining though it was nice to see family I haven't seen forever. It was a ton of fun, but of coarse our family is extremely loud and everybody had to talk over other people just to be heard but it was still sooo much fun. We stayed out late acting like dorks, listening to London's crazy hyper laughing and watching Greg entertain himself with the glow sticks, then watching his dissapointed face as it got stuck in a tree. It's sad to see that this is the last week of summer.

Heat+Water=Perfect day.

Yesterday there was not a cloud in the sky or a breeze in the air. It was a perfect day for rafting and cliff jumping (ya apparently I didn't learn my lesson the first time). Not even 5 minutes down the river we already had 2 guys go overboard and lost 2 paddles and a flooded raft. It was already quiet the adventure. We were having too much fun already to complain about it though. We stopped at the cliffs and the 6 of us made our way up, so I was assuming they were all going to jump. But no they decided to walk all the way up look down and say no and walk all the way down. So me and Colton decided to be the brave ones and we jumped. If I remember right, I think I did a cannonball or something into the water because all I remember is coming out of the water and my butt just killing! Haha it was an adrenline rush. I loved it. We continued our journey down the river and almost to the end we started a water fight and I was determined to soak the other boat so I jumped into the water from my raft thinking it was deep water because I couldn't see the water and well there I did it again. Hit shallow water, I couldn't help but laugh though. Like my mom tells me I act and then I think.

The Ranch

It's that time of year ;) kind of bitter sweet actually. I love going to the ranch because it's a nice vacation to get away from the world in our own little paradise. Jet skiing all day and partying all night but when I know it's time to go to the ranch I also know that summer is quickly ending. This place is one of my most favorite places because we get the lake to ourselves and can be as loud as we please. Which I promise you...we get loud.

Whoops...?

So when I mentioned jumping off the cliff and hitting shallow water I didn't think it was that big of a deal until Wednesday night when at EFY one of my counselors noticed how sick looking my knee and ankle was and she insisted she called the first aid people. So I was like whatever they are just big bruises. I was kidding around about going to the hospital and stuff and next thing I know I'm getting carried out of the room and into a van and put into a wheel chair. That was the start of a long night. I got to the hospital at around 10:30 and waited and waited and finally at one in the morning I got in and got my xrays done and stuff and the doctor finally comes in and tells me that if I came in as soon as I was hurt I would need crutches or a wheel chair and stuff for a couple weeks but since I've been walking on it for a couple days it would only start to make my ankle and knee weaker so he told me to keep walking on it and let it heal itself. Well seeing as I get a lot of injuries my parents insist I be wrapped in bubble wrap. My dad made this picture and thought it would be quiet funny.
Wouldn't that be a sight?

Pure stupidity.

EFY.

I spent the last week at EFY in Calgary. It was one crazy week but I loved every minute of it. I wasn't really looking forward for it to be over but of coarse all good things come to an end. I don't want to bore anyone with the adventures of everyday so here are some pictures.

Kayden and Jaden got the great pleasure of having my counselor from last year. Lucky guys.

I figured out what ties are really meant for. Snagging the guys as fast as you can ;)

My amazing counselor Kelsey :)

SERVICE DAY! Making blankets for charities.

Our boys.

The guys in my group gave me the nickname "shark bait" (confusing story) so they were pretending to be sharks.

note to self.

It's called cliff jumping for a reason not cliff step off land in shallow area, hence your even more screwed up knee. whoops? :)
