Today was the first day of seminary in the second semester. Brother Walters is my teacher, he stood in front of the class and announced that he is NOT our teacher. WHAT!? He then proceeded to tell us that nobody can teach us anything, teachers are there to inspire us and trick us into learning but NOBODY can teach us. We can only teach ourselves. For example he asked us who taught us how to tie our shoes, a majority of us said our Mom or Dad and then he said that they showed us how to do it but we had to teach ourselves, the same with riding a bike and simple things like that. It goes the same with more complicated things.
I could go on and on about it but I'd hate to bore you, so that's just something about today that stood out.
