I love Bio.
I really do, I don't know why but it's super interesting to me.
One of my favoritest things about Bio is the studying that comes along with it.
Let me explain though before y'all think I'm crazy.
Christian Burton and I have a tradition as of last years Bio class.
Before EVERY test we study TOGETHER.
We get a snack and get down to it.
It's awesome, it's fun. We enjoy ourselves.
Today he brought his little brother and we decided to teach him our Bio lessons (sorry we had to make things awkward for ya David)
My mom even got in on it.
It was a good time y'all.
Really.

A Split Second

This morning I had to make a split second decision, you know those ones you see in movies where you really don't think at all you just instantly say what your heart tells you.
Yup, it was quite the moment.

Let me fill you in.
I woke up this morning,
ate breakfast
curled up in a blanket
read a book
drank hot chocolate

The phone rang!
Kiara: "Hello?"
Dude on the other end: "Hey! It's Mr.Janisko!"
Kiara: "HEY!"
Janisko: "Wanna go to Arizona in October with a bunch of people for a Bio Trip, Come to the school right now and I'll go through some details"
Kiara: "Alright"

So I made my way to the school and right on the spot he tells me that I need to make a decision on the spot because the plane tickets were going fast. So without even thinking I said "HECK YES!"

So I booked them tickets, I am pleased to announce October 5th I will be getting on a plane and heading to Mesa, Arizona then making my way to Havasupai Trail doing a wicked long hike and camping. I heard it's amazing and I love hiking so this is great!!! Another bonus is we're spending a night in Vegas. Wicked eh!?

Here are some pictures!

Would you look at that!? Just look at it!

B-I-O

Today I planned on studying for my Bio exam tomorrow (LAST EXAM!)
I got up early, showered and made my way to the school and got Mr.Janisko to quiz me, my sister, and Charlie. Well after that instead of locking ourselves in a room and studying the rest of the day we decided to study the real deal. So we took a trip to Lethbridge and called this studying. Well I did learn a few things that you just might not learn in a classroom
Like...

-Woman should think twice about wearing a short skirt and bending over, let's just say I saw a bit to much of a stranger today...I'll leave it at that.
-Mosquitos will continue to bite you even if you do bite back
-Do not attempt to speak Japanese to a Japanese person
-Don't wear clothing that confuses old woman, they ask to many questions.
- (This is not something I learnt but something everyone in the vehicle learnt) DO NOT TOUCH KIARA'S TIMBITS!
-Do not shove chopsticks up your nose in attempt of "becoming a walrus" side effects may involve a bloody nose
-Don't dance around parking lots when there are Hutterites around, they really start to believe us white folk are possessed
-Do not attempt Kung Fu moves around people you think don't know any moves because they might surprise you and you may or may not end up on the floor with the wind knocked out of you (Thank you Christian Burton for not telling me you were in Martial Arts)
-Do not suggest to play a game to torture others if you do not want to be tortured.
-Don't start giving a massaging and stop 2 seconds later thinking the person would be okay with that..."NO YOU KEEP GOING OR I WILL...."
-When it comes to actually studying do not answer a question incorrectly around Burton because he WILL make sure you will remember to get it right the NEXT time...
--The last thing I learnt and I ask myself, why do I not have a camera!?---

&& my last bio note for the day

Better Together

I was going to wait until the video was uploaded and ready to show to the world but I'm just way to excited! Why? Well here's a short story for ya.

Last night I got a call from Christian Burton begging me to go over to Briggs' house to listen to them sing and express my HONEST opinion on how they sound and to help them fix anything they need changed. Well I was out the door before he hung up and on my way. Thinking I was only going to be there for half an hour tops I found myself there for 3 hours listening to them sing this song over and over. It only got better and better and got me more and more excited for the talent show. It was so much fun jamming out with them and singing obnoxiously.

Today we planned on skipping 3rd period and practicing more and they asked Fielding if he wanted to sing with them. Long story short Christian and Fielding complete each other. Let's just say they sound Better Together ;) As soon as the video is on youtube I'll post it. I'm just not a very patient person. GET EXCITED!
